Daughter of Margaret Milnes, the well-known Sussex artist. She studied at the City Literary Institute, London, under James Burr. She has been associated from the start with Ditchling Gallery where she exhibited at its first show in 1959. She works mainly in acrylics and pastels, sometimes mixing the media for her bold landscapes and large-scale figure and plant studies.
